What is Hash generator?

A cryptographic hash turns any input into a fixed-length fingerprint: the same input always produces the same hash, a tiny change in the input produces a completely different hash, and you can't reverse the hash back into the original text.

How to use it

Type or paste any text and the MD5, SHA-1, SHA-256 and SHA-512 hashes update live. Commonly used to verify a downloaded file wasn't corrupted or tampered with, by comparing its hash to a published value.
